NIROS DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA is a low-priced system for internal on board communication allowing communication between portable radios in areas with no direct radio coverage. As the system is passive, it is suitable for use in hazardous areas i.e. engine rooms and drilling platforms.

The system couples radiowise isolated areas together into one operational area. Where coverage is required, a special antenna is mounted - the installation is simple, all antennas are connected in series. For the anteannas, various coupling modules are available making it possible to change the effect of the inividual antennas, also after installation.
